We are very proud to have been selected as the USAT Paratriathlon National Championship race in 2016. This continues our legacy of supporting developing and paratriathletes at all levels of competition. Hosting in an Olympic games year and prior to the very first Paralympic Games in September makes this even more special.
The first wave of the event will be the paratriathlon wave. Please check the wave start schedule for times and changes. The paratriathlon wave is tenatively scheduled to start at 7:30 am.

Athletes wishing to compete in the 2016 USA Paratriathlon National Championships must be officially classified and must have completed a USA Triathlon or ITU Sanctioned Event that meets distance and time standards between May 1, 2015, and July 17, 2016. Athletes who are not classified or do not meet the time standards may choose to race in the PC Open division. A National Classification opportunity will be offered in Santa Cruz prior to the event.
