After your swim you'll run down the sidewalk by the National Marine Sanctuary Center, and on a trail into Depot Park, then hop on your bike for a 24.8 mile ride ( 4 loops) out to the West Side of Santa Cruz. You will turn right at Bay Street and make a loop around the block to get onto West Cliff and ride along West Cliff Drive to Swanton, go up Swanton, make a U-Turn at Swanton and Delaware to go back to West Cliff Drive. At Bay and West Cliff you will loop around the block and merge back onto West Cliff Drive. You will make FOUR
loops of the bike course before returning to transition.
At the end of your bike ride you'll return to Depot Park and run up West Cliff Drive past the Surfer Museum at Lighthouse Point and along West Cliff Drive to a turnaround point before returning to the Depot Park.
The finish line will be located in Depot Park and you'll be able to relax and refuel and visit the vendors at the post race expo.
The awards ceremony will take place in the plaza area at Depot Park.
